How to Strengthen Your Nails

  1. Olive oil

To stop your nails from peeling and cracking, olive oil is always the perfect solution. So, you need a little extra virgin olive oil. Extra virgin oil is of the highest quality and provides intense hydration for your nails.

Heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil so as to reach a bearable temperature for you, and to be absorbed more easily by your nails and skin. Pour the oil into a small bowl and soak your nails for 15-20 minutes, after which, with the same oil massage the nails and cuticles.

  1. Lemon juice

Another option is to apply over your nails a little lemon juice. Leave it to act 5-10 minutes, then rinse. Mix in a bowl a little extra virgin olive oil, warm, with two egg yolks and keep your nails in this composition for another 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure two or three times a week. Also, for a week, you can rub your nails every day with lemon juice and you will see a major improvement. Your nails will be stronger and brilliant. Lemon juice can be replaced with orange juice.

  1. Egg yolks

Mix two egg yolks, three tablespoons of warm milk and two teaspoons of honey. Keep your nails in this mixture for 20 minutes, three times a week. Nails will strengthen immediately due to the calcium provided by milk and egg proteins.

  1. Vitamins A and E

You can find at the pharmacy capsules of oily vitamin A or E. Before going to bed, massage your nails for 10 minutes with a few drops of vitamin A or E, and they will immediately regain their radiance and healthy appearance.

In addition, among the natural oils that help strengthen nails, are included almond oil, lavender oil and essential oil of eucalyptus or tea tree.
